Mahalo.com is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Take Google and Wikipedia and you get the best human powered search engine, currently growing at a rapid rate. The ability to search for something on Mahalo and get accurate results, along with related news, videos, and user recommended links makes it the best place to get a range of information on almost any subject.

I have Mahalo Follow installed which allows me to quickly and easily recommend good quality links on anything I want. I’ve also been helping build some of the pages with member’s notes… I think the next step might be the Mahalo Greenhouse.

So why do I think Mahalo is better then Google? Simple. When I search for something on Mahalo I get relevant and useful information with a few additions like related videos, news articles and links to websites on the subject that are deemed ‘high quality links’ from the Mahalo Guides. What I don’t get is the spam, unsafe links, and biased information found all over the Internet that Google downloads frequently! On top of this, Mahalo boasts a friendly community that are always willing to contribute to the cause!
